DC, Poseidon's fish bowl is not expensive at all. Even if you are a farang the charge is only 2,400B (cheaper than Darling's). Of course, if you choose the sideline or models, then it is a different story.
You could also try Nataree (also along Ratchadapisek Road), less than 2,000 B.

Apologies to The Annie's fans, but if it were my first trip Annies would be at the bottom of my list. Now that the second trips coming up Annies is offically off my MP list.
"Marginal" is the keyword in my recollection of Annie's and way too much naugahyde there too. For the 2500 baht you'll be a helluva lot happier walking out the door of somewhere else as a first timer IMO.

I was affraid you were gonna ask that. Other options I can't rightfully suggest, as I only explored Annies and Barons, where I had the pleasure of indulging Oil and Saeng (on different days), and was very impressed by both. So, what DO I know? Sure I could say go to Baron's and I am actually.
But then too, from what I've been reading the higher end MPs along Ratchadapisek Road are where I'll be prowling once back. Annie's to me was too *yawn* low end. Ý
The best advise (I think) I could give is relax, slow down once your through their door, have a beverage and linger a bit, talk to the girls if possible and THEN choose your fancy.

If going to Ratchadaa is a bit difficult for you I may suggest to try J1 MP on Sri Ayuttaya Road. Just opposite CP2. This place is easy accesible through Skytrain, Payathai BTS Station. Price 1.7-2.0K/session/90 min....Good selection of TGs and DO NOT pay more than 2K....otherwise, walk out smiling and cross the pedestrian bridge and hit CP2....(1.5K/session)......
Nataree is also a good bet. 1,7K-2K and also a good selection of TGs but in Ratchadaa though....
The above two suggestions were on the basis of a 2K/session budget for a soapy....
Darlings also is nice but instead of paying 2,5K/service you better take a cab and head to Poseidon where you can get a regular fish-bowl TG for 2.4K....or even an Oil Massage with Mook/Som/Saeng/Oil......Have fun!!

Thanks again. I went to CP2 but I didnt go to J1. Is J1 better than CP2? I enjoyed myself thoroughly for the 1.7k baht there. I guess I am budgeting for my two months of being here.
Posiedon was awesome... I mean f-!@#@$ing awesome. But, oh man... too many of those nights... you will see me singing a song in front of the emporium to get some money!!! Yep! I suggest J1 over CP2 BUT DO NOT pay more than 2K....This place is very well known on RIP-OFF stuff....Thus, if you get a quotation of 2,5K or so, just smile and walk out....However, the selection is much better than CP2....(just my opinion).

another option in the sukhumvit area is cupidty at plaza entertainment. i like this place a lot as a more wide and far better selection than in darlings and esp. in annies. rooms are also better in my opinion. charge is thb 1,700 - 2,200 depending on how good you haggle with the papasan for the fisbowl and about thb 2,500-3,000 for the sidelines.
just forget annies as it is not worth going there when you are looking for girls in their early to mid 20's.
