I have been to CP2 probably 10 times in the past year and a half and in the same period I have been to CP1 about the same number of times. Consistantly the CP1 girls are prettier, give better service and the rooms and towels are better. It is easy to avoid the taxi scam by taking the BTS. The price difference is then only baht300 or 400. Three of the girls from CP1 were, for me anyway, solid 9's in every way. I see the quality of CP2 as headed down and for some time now.

This is my regular MP as well. Agree on most of what you have said. However, the f_cking papasans still think they can overcharge any single farang that step in J1. This policy gave this palce bad reputation as a rip-off MP....The girls are solid 7 and maybe 8s. I can compare J1 with Nataree as well....

I walked into J1 with my mind made up that I was going to be ripped. (from reading here) So, I asked for prices and walked out (preprogrammed) and headed for CP2. Now, maybe I should rethink this, but I forgot what the low end basic prices were. Couldn't think on my feet! Can someone tell me again what is the rate for LOCALS which I presume will be the lowest they will offer. Also, what is J1 charge for standard room vs. VIP; and is the difference worth it. I thought the 60 Baht difference at CP2 was well worth it because I like lots of water.

I found the standard room at J1 quite ok (about the same as the VIP room at CP2). And anyway the girls kept most of my attention....

At J1 it is 1.7-1.8K/session for the regular fishbowl girls. The young women called sideliners/models are 2K. I saw locals paying these amounts during my visits.
At CP2 the price for the girls in the fishbowl is 1.5K (right) and 1.7 (left). I saw the locals paying these amounts as well. Yep, you can pay B/.60 more and you can upgrade your room....hope this helps.

I've been to both JI and CP2. I like them both very much. Getting 2 girls at each is easy. The girls are younger at CP2, but have language difficulties.....however if you like 'em young, its GREAT! I had some great times at the CP-2 60baht VIP rooms!
At J1, the girls are a little prettier and speak more languages. J1 opens at Noon. Avoid the taxi or private driver to J1. Use the skytrain as posted earlier. I concur the prices Pinga gave.
By the way, CP-2 in 2001 were 1650baht for the girls in the middle. In 2002, they matched the girls on the left and middle at 1700baht.

Went to J1 last nite, I was disappointed. No service at all. I entered, no greeting whatsoever. I sat on a sofa and waited for a waitress, it took them 30 mins before they would ask me if I want anything. Papasan/mamasan never bother to give me any advice, heck they didn't even look at me. After I drank my coffee, I just took off and called a cab to Poseidon.
LOL, only 2 phrase were said to me while I was in J1.
Waitress: would u like something to drink? (in thai)
Papasan: are u leaving? (in english)
btw, the lounge is full of mosquitos, wtf.

The papasans do tend to want to escort you in. But they are generally pretty patient if you want to take your time. I think they all assume you may have a favorite girl and want to ask for her immediately upon arrival.
Actually the reason i'm posting is that just had another excellent experience at J-One on Tues. A very cute Chiang Rai girl - partially at recommendation of papasan. Wouldn't have picked her except she looked damn cute to me. Cuter in the room than the fishbowl. Very friendly, affectionate. Excellent body, small boobs. Enthusiastic in the sack.
No problems with pricing either. Just asked papasan if price was 'same as last time' and he said yes and got it for 1800 baht as usual (+300 baht tip).
