I am wondering, do you guys go all the way to some remote (not so popular) MP places.
There's always a perception that there's something special abt this place.
No matter how 'underground' it may seem, is it worth the exploration?

- I think by and large it is worth the effort to get off the tourist beat - a good area to check out is "Pin-gaow" - all around the intersection of Arun-Amarin Rd. and the main Rd. comming over the bridge from Sanam luang, are assorted massage parlours, probably a dozen within a half mile radius.

Been at CP3 several times. That makes my only soapy experiences in that area.
There are others near PATA "Pin-gao" but just wondering around could see more of those karaoke/pub joints where Thai language proficiency is a must if youa re aiming good sanook.

I we're in a MP on that side of the river, BUT was guided by a tuktuk driver so NOT cheap or memorable at all!
our (guided) night out also included a visit to a 'club' with those lady photo's outside & they ask to sit & talk with at a timed fee. hell they'd even dance with you 
needless to say we didn't stay long...

There is one on Chaengwattana Rd near Big C. I think it is Soi 7
Went there once.........it was 500baht for 2hrs of traditional or oil massage.
Special massage available also..........
Some nice girls. Very handy when you live near by and can't be stuffed fighting traffic.
