Hi,
I am a newbie to the MP scene and was wondering if there is a place that I might want to start or a definite must go. Also, I will be travelling to BKK with my colleague who is an Indian. I have seen some posts that they do not treat Indians well. He is a good guy but do I have to do anything different.

Check out Annie's massage on soi 3 go past the Nana Hotel and about 100 meters there is a 7-11 make a right and go 50 meters on the left. Cost 1500 for 90 minutes.
With your Indian friend go sit at the bar and order a drink and see what kind of reception you get. Some places will be cool some won't.

I do suggest you go to Mona Lisa. Take a look at the ladies and see which ones are interested in you and your friend. The price is very reasonable...about 1600 baht. It's closer than the well established ones on Ratchada so less traffic and cheap. Always some good looking ones to choose from. I once told a model from poseidon that I was Indian....she said that she doesn't like Indian but she does like me anyways because I'm nice to her.

Both Annie's and Darling (Sukhumvit 12) are excellent choices for a first-time experience; they get plenty of newbies so they are used to it and English is not a problem.
Wherever you decide to go, use this forum to benchmark the pricing. I have several times personally witnessed papasans quoting "double rates" as a way to discourage Indian clients without actually telling them "no".

Hey brother GaM1 welcome to the brotherhood. It's a little hard to make an accurate suggestion for you until you tell us what type of ladies you usually go for or are interested in and whether money is an issue with you or not.
If you don't have a specific preference then there are lots of places to choose from. If however you prefer ladies that are so called "supermodel" quality and you don't mind spending more for what you want then you're better off crossing places like Annies off your list.

Annie's has been in business alot longer then I have been comming to Thailand (99). Every time I've been there, their has been a steady stream of customer's. Annie must be taking care of a certain class of cheap charley's in a way that keeps us comming back for more.
There are many places more expensive with pretty girls and then their is Annie's, less expensive with girls who are almost as pretty. If you have the time give them all a try. Hard to go wrong in BKK.

Amen to that, brother. And I would add that it's hard to go wrong at Annie's. Even the worst I've had there has been good value for the money.
After all, sometimes great beauty is the name of the game, and sometimes skill is - you pays your money and takes your chances.
Actually, this seems to be a continuing debate. Annie's has it's adherents and detractors. Since people are so different in their approach to Sanuk, the best advice I can give you is to try it yourself.

Again brother GaM1, you are not giving us very much to go on. By the time you get settled in at your hotel most massage places will be closed or closing and some hotels do have in house massage services but you haven't told us which hotel you plan on staying at. And you still haven't said whether price or quality is of importance to you. We need details if we're going to help bro. Peace
