This is off the subject but would appreciate any info you "soapy experts" may have.
I talked with one of the bar girls at a gogo and was told that they get tested for stds every 3 months.
I was wondering if any of you know if they test at the massage places? On the thai food chain it seems that massage places should have the cleanest women and street walkers are somewhere at the other end of the spectrum.
Does anyone know if either the police or the owners test the girls in Pattaya massage parlors?

which place was this, I don't know anywhere that insists on checks, except eden,there are plenty of + girls working in a go go's so assume any girl you are with is + to be on the safe side.
On the subject of this massage parlor I had my worst experience there. On my 2nd trip a few years ago I picked a girl, paid 600 baht and went upstairs. Halfway thru she quotes me 3000 baht, f_ck me I thought it was 1000 from what I had heard. I should have got dressed and gone back for another girl but i gave in and haggled but still paid double the going rate for a crappy f_ck.-peter

i think like everything in thailand money talks,i have heard of girls going for checks that last 5 mins the doctor just stamps the card for 200 bt,i paid a clinic for a certificate to say i couldnt fly cos i had a non transferable flight,500bt to clinic and 300 bt to travl agent,cheap way to change flight.
i think you just have to be careful!
