Chuwit's parlour closed
Police yesterday temporarily closed a massage parlour owned by Chuwit Kamolvisit for having too many rooms.
The Metropolitan Police commissioner ordered Hi Class massage parlour closed for 15 days, beginning yesterday, according to a document Huai Khwang police handed to Chuwit at his office yesterday.
The order was countersigned by the Huai Khwang police station's caretaker superintendent, Col Withaya Rattanavich.
Hi Class is one of six massage parlours owned by Chuwit, a self-styled crusader against police corruption. He claims to have made monthly payments of millions of baht to police overseeing areas where his parlours are located.
Massage parlours are generally acknowledged to be fronts for prostitution.
Chuwit called the closure order unfair because massage parlours owned by others had more rooms than are allowed by law and many operate without permits. He suspected the police order was deliberate persecution.

Nothing good will come from Chuwit. Probably are the MP girls will be moved to Emmanuelle's next door during the closure.
This too many rooms issue is a red herring, but probably more closure will follow in the short term.
