Are there anymore early afternoon open massage parlors or are they pretty much all fall in line with the men in brown nowadays ? I thought maybe the older ones might still open early, like angara, atami, mona lisa ? Are most of them open from 6 pm to only 12 am ? And the prime time with the best and most girls are around 7-8 PM ?

The tradtional Thai Massage Parlors open around noon or earlier. Most of them offer "specials" such as HJ or maybe BJ, and only some offer FS. Barons offers everything.
The soapy places open later, and some have changed to 6 pm becasue of the crackdown (Darlings for example). You can email or call them to find out the latest situation on their hours.

Soapy MPs now open from 6 pm to 12 midnight on Mon to Fri. Sat & Sun: usual time from 2 pm to 12 midnight.

I can confirm what AdrianJJ says, based on a good deal of prowling over this past week; I did not find any exceptions. All owners/operators of the bigger more visible MPs appear to be lying low on opening hours until the heat blows over. Sucks.

CP2 is always open in the afternoon. I have been there at noon and they have been open. Prime time when the fish bowl is full is usually at 6 to 8pm. But at noon there always 50 to 75 girls there.

I stopped by CP2 and CP1 about a month ago and both were closed in the afternoon. About a month before that they were open. The crackdown has everyone playing it safe.
BTW. Bangkok Cozy is also opening at 6PM as of last week.
