No doubt mentioned elsewhere, TPE not the authority on local MPs, [ bars/freelancers more me ] anyway, in my travels, had to locate Happy house, and seems worth a mention. Is down sukhumvit soi 1, towards Bungrumrud Hospital, almost opposite "Golden Palace" hotel, is a small side soi, on your right if comming down from Sukhumvit main road, towards the end of this little street, are 2 cream coloured shophouses, no big signs, flashing lights etc, a couple of Thai guys usually hanging around in the front, anyway, inside nice, fishbowl with no glass window, just around 30 odd TGs sitting down, range from average to a few not bad sorts, small bar where you can have a drink whilst selecting, prices seemed fair, 1500 baht for 2 hours, you can also take the girls to your hotel if you prefer, and they dont close till 2am - I was there around 4pm. Cant give you a run-down of the rooms/performances, but sure the likes of Pinga etc have visited and can update this report, but seems like worth a look if you in the area, - just 5 min walk from nana/GT/Bamboo etc. -

Just further info on HH - returned again with a buddy, who partook - he got a nice young thing who had just begun working there, some fairly fresh young TGs on offer, about 50 girls to choose from late afternoon, only downside is the upstairs amenities not top class, most rooms just a small bath and/or shower, and often only luke-warm water if that, but otherwise all OK, and as i say, think the girls put ion a bit more effort than in some places, as they probably dont have alot of customers, normally only 1 or 2 other guys have been there when I've gone - and 5 min walk to cut through bangrumrud Hospital back to bamboo bar or GT !

My first ever Bangkok P4P experince was ay Happy House so I have a bit of a soft spot for the place even though I have never been back It was my first day in Bangkok and I was taken here by a Tuk-Tuk Driver!!
The fishbowl was bit off putting as the girls could see and shout at you as you made your selection. However I like small girls with short hair and there was one just right sitting from row, far right. I was quoted 3,000 baht (rememebr newbie farang / tuk tuk driver commission etc - I was quicly to learn about such things and this was back in '99) I had also just relocated from Singapore and after some quick maths this was a 'hell of deal' compared to what I was used to paying!
Anyway we walked up many flights of stairs and was shown inot a small room. It had a bath and aİsmall bed. We had a quick wash down and she gave me my first soapy massage on an air mattress. It was very good espcially at it was my first time! We then moved to the bed where we f_cked solidly for a long time. An OK if expensive experince. I never went back as there are many better and cheaper places available.
It seems to be quite popular however as I passed by it many time as I used the Bumrungrad Hospital 'short cut' to get up to Sukhumvit from Soi3 and there are always lots of cars and guys outside.

Well I recieved very little info on Happy House so I decided to take a chance. It had about 20 girls or so in the area (not fishbowl) just a sectioned of area.
Quality of the girls was a few cute and young maybe 7's or 8's but most were older and not to good.
Had fun and the price was the usual 1500 bht. Rooms left much to be desired and so did the massage, I took # 2 ok but too new and not motivated she surely wanted to be somewhere else although she did want a falang boyfriend, I think she meant Falang ATM.
Anyways it was ok but I would probably go back to annie's before happy house again

Ah, the "Golden Palace" - my first hotel during my first stay in BKK. Fond memories of 'discovering' 'Happy House' across the street (one of those "Hmmm...what is this...?" experiences...
