I've had generally good service at CP1 (J-One) even though I can't really say I have a favorite. I can say they consistently have hot girls there though.
And before anyone calls me on this, I know about the rumors on overpricing for farang at J-One. However I can definetely state that the price is the same as CP2 - if you point this out to the papasan you're working with. I've spoken with a couple and they always match the CP2 price. It probably helps if you speak a bit of Thai.
And they freely admitted to passing a commission to tuk-tuks and taxi drivers bring clients. This probably happens at a lot of establishments. But since J-One is walking distance from the sky train, and there's many ways to avoid a taxi driver's commission, I wouldn't rule them out for these issues.

Atami and CP2 a tie for experience.
Got reemed on price at Atami (3000)plus tuk tuk followed me in and scamed like he did the taxi ride for me.
I argued but got screwed anyway. Didn't argue too much cause the first girl I saw was a stunner. This was March 03.
Selection overall seemed better at CP2 though and no BS on price.
