Dear all, If my target is going to Plaza, would you suggest me to stay at Le Meridien Hotel, Plaza Athenee, or JW Mariott Hotel in order to avoid the time of heavy traffic during the busy hours?

Plaza Athenee has the most direct route to Plaza. You could also stay at Prince Hotel which is just behind Plaza, so you won't have any traffic problems at all!

However, I can only choose between the three. I know Plaza Athenee has the most direct route to Plaza, however, the traffic on wirless road is terrible during the busy hours and it takes about 30 mins to pass through wireless road and make a right turn to New Pet. Road.

if you don't mind a walk, the marriott would be a better option in rush hour! from the marriott you can also take a motorbike up soi 1 and walk the rest, may be the driver is willing to go against the traffic on soi 3, which makes it even more easier!

Stay at the Plaza Athenee; traffic is bad anywhere during rush hour but at least from the Plaza the traffic is heading in the right direction (north on Wireless). If traffic is really heavy then take a motorcycle taxi... there is a stand just outside of the PA parking lot "back" entrance on Ruam Rudi... that will get you to the Plaza in less than 10 minutes regardless of traffic. Worst case you could walk; it's less than 2 kilometers.
