As the title says - what has looks got to do with it?
Do some girls shy away from letting you inside because you're an A-grade skankster? Or do most look past it.

doesn't matter as long as your a friendly, smily and charming.
money can be a plus as well as looks, at the end of the day it is still how you treat and interacte with people. I have seen male model types and rich assholes being conned and leaving alone in LOS. the charming people will always score, regardless of age, looks and money!

If you are "hansum man" then you have a head start, without a doubt. It needs to be coupled with "jai-dii" and "jai-gwaang" for you to be truly all conquering!!
However, it seems to me that every foreigner is "hansum" in Thailand.
A friend of mine refuses to get involved with truly handsome men on the grounds that the fiscal returns are not there (she didn't quite put it in those words, but I understood her).
I find that in Thailand, like The Philippines, "handsome" tends to = young and eligible, rather than beautiful.

1. Shower, shave, and just generally keep up your grooming.
2. Wear as nice clothes as you can be bothered to.
3. Don't get sh*t-faced, obnoxious, rude, agressive, or mad.
4. Keep your options open and don't focus on only one girl.
I think if you follow the above you can pretty much forget about how ugly you may look. Looks are much further down the line from these issues.
