I love the Thai massage parlour scene but I'm a bit out of touch with what is available these days. In the past I've frequented Nataree, but on my last trip a year ago I was less than excited by the service I got there. I always felt that Nataree was one of those places that tried hard and they never tried to cheat me. On my last trip I also tried cupidity. I got past the scam job by the papasan and paid my 1800 baht, got to the room and could not believe my disappointment when she got naked. This girl had nothing to get excited about. However she was such a sweatheart that I didn't want to hurt her feelings. It was a wise decision as she was an excellent performer. She did everything you could ask and more.
Here is my question: I prefer mid-priced MP's. Any suggestions for places to try out? I could easily go back to cupidity and fight over the 1800 baht fee. I've heard Nataree has gone downhill. What are your ideas guys?
If I decide to move up scale a bit, what are some other suggestions. I hate the farang surcharge and have always refused to pay it. I speak Thai fairly well and expect to be treated fairly. But I would love to hear your suggestions.

IMO, Darling at BT 2500 is good value for money. Usually service is good and for an older smaller place, the caliber of ladies is quite high. Annie at BT 1500 is better priced but there are more beastesses than hostesses. However, there are a few who are good looking and give a high degree of personal service.
For all the joints on Rachadaphisek, it must be me. Everytime I go I seem to hit peak time (early evening) and the number of avails is usually low. They all seem to be adquate but with any of them, you have stars and starfish.

darling and annie are rock bottom at the quality/price/service range and not really recommandable unless you are desperately looking for soenthing in the immedeate sukhumvit area!
for quality it is only ratchada and cupidy for the midlevel!

There is abundant documentation on this board that you can hit a patch of bad luck at any MP in Thailand... there is always an element of luck. There is no substitute for research... determining which venue appeals to you and then frequenting the place enough to get hooked up with the papasans... which of course is easier if you live here.
This is just a wild guess, but if you liked Cupidy I would suggest you try Plaza (upstairs in the same building). Another venue that might fit your specs is Bangkok Cosy. Nataree is still suffering; I was there last weekend just for a look and things were still grim. It will be interesting to see if things improve at Nataree now that it is accessible by subway....

I don't disagree with anyone's views of the MP's mentioned. It is always subjective and that's why so many of these places can exist.
I do still contend for the selection of girls Darling has some very attractive ladies on most days.
