I'm new to the forum but like many of you a veteran traveler to LOS. I've checked a couple of the websites for MPs, namely, Poseidon (which seems to be a favorite) and Cleopatra. Poseidon's gallery of girls (though only five shown) is not impressive and the girls would hardly be worth the 2000 baht at face value. And what's up with the surcharge of 500 baht for farangs! I suspect this is for non asians only. The last time I went to a fish bowl in Bangkok was last year, a small one, but the girls were 450 baht a piece for a short time. No body massage, and just an okay room with bathroom and shower. But the girls were better looking then the ones in Poseidon's photo gallery. And rocked in bed! The only difference being they weren't fair skinned which makes no difference to me. I did bargain with the papa san in my limited thai, though. And was very casual about it beer in hand. If you don't look like you want it the price can often be lowered.
I'm thinking of doing the MPs on Ratchadapisek, maybe Cleopatra or one of the others. Any that don't stick farangs with the 500 baht surcharge?

I'm in the R.O.K. and when I tried to access the shortcut you provided I got the "Safe Zone." Big Brother here doesn't want me to see it, I guess.
I had two gogo girls from Nana for a thousand a piece plus their bar fines, five hundred a piece. They were hotties and great action! For three thousand can a brother do as well at an MP? That was in July.
Later, I hooked up with two hard bodied nineteen year old, bar girls (on separate evenings) They were a thousand a night plus a four hundred bar fine. I spent hours looking for them but they were worth it.
Looking for the best prices at an MP for a couple of hours. Two hotties for three thousand sounds reasonable to me, no five hundred farang fee included.

Going to a soapy is just a different experience then taking a girl back to your hotel room, but totally "up to you" yes it is more expensive, but well worth trying at least one soapy once, otherwise you'll be kicking youself when you get back home that you didn't give them a go.
That site that I gave you is a bit outdated but it shows you that you do get a better choice then 5.

One can have a great time at a crummy little place with just a few girls available - or an equal fiasco at a topnotch parlor. Both things happened to me several times. I honestly think that just test, test and test again will give you the experience - anywhere! Itīs a tough job, but someoneīs gotta do it!
BTW: Is it just my belief or do others agree to my presumption that expensive places = fairskinned girls, "normal" price joints = Isaan style?? Personally I prefer the latter!
