Posideon don't have russians due to police porblems. Monolisa have them in secret spots and only to regular customers. All because of police busting the russians overstaying their tourist visas. I can confirm it because it happened in front of me...
I picked up two russian from CM2 and the police stopped my taxi and took the girls away. Thankfully they didn't bother me because I stuck to my story (just meet them thro' internet chat room)... Tried my best to let the girls go but the police insisted I leave the place at once since I don't have my passport with me and also it doesn't involve me any more... felt bad for the girls... Bad luck came to them in my shape.... 
But, BEWARE friends... something is going on with russians and police...

Interesting comment. A couple of years ago I came across a similar situation in Hong Kong. Not in massage palours but hotel bars. Russian girls were coming in by the dozen. The police got very interested there.
I think the police got interested in the girls 'cos there were some very nasty Russian men behind the organisation. Who knows??

Had noticed a weird situation in Dubai a few years ago immediately after the breakup of the Soviet Union. Only Russian girls were tolerated. You could find them in the discos and also walking the streets. They used to come on tourist visa, work for a couple of months and then leave, using the money they made to buy stuff that was in demand back home in Russia. As the Russians had been starved of good things over the years, the girls made good profits back home.
Maybe they were tolerated in Dubai because they pumped back their earnings into the economy that was suffering because it had just lost its Iranian and Iraqi markets.

$300! That's alot of dollars in bkk! Thanks for the post/warning. I am planning to go to bkk again this june/july. had intended to meet some russians, as a change of pace. might have to alter that plan now.
would you still go to cm2 or mona lisa with this current situation?

I visited Mono Lisa and got two Russians back to back (check out the beautiful ukranians!)... also I got two more into the hotel room for an afternoon fun before checking out...
Let's enjoy it while at least few more of them left over in BKK! MonoLisa is less risky option than CM2 even though you can have the same girls for all night for the price you pay for 1 1/2 hours at MonoLisa...

3000 (or 3500 based on your pick) bahts for 1 1/2 hours at MonoLisa. 4000B for all night if you pick them at CM2. After 11pm at CM2 is a good time to start the selection... 5-6pm @ Monolisa....
