Couldn't find this addressed specifically in other posts, but if it has been, forgive me for being redundant. I'm making my 3rd trip to LOS this year in a few weeks. The larger, more sophisticated MPs (Poseidon, Caesar's, etc.) have interesting web sites but almost exclusively written in the Thai language. I understand the surcharge for us farangs, but given the look of their web sites would they really prefer that non-Asians stay away? I wouldn't want to go to a place where my presence is being tolerated but not really wanted.

when did they start making the websites thai only? The first time I was on poseidens web site it was in english. Has it changed? I think they like farang money, more money to the house. japenese seemed to really like Poseiden the first time I was there. There was probably 20 -30 japenese in the place. So I think they like all farang. I have never seen any poseiden page in japenese but they a Karoke bar that catered to them.

Maybe they have versions of their sites in English, but I never saw links to them. The ones I looked at (last week) were written about 95% in Thai, making me think that was their preferred target audience. However, the feedback I now have from the 2 responders so far seems encouraging nonetheless.

Some places will outright tell you that they dont allow falangs and no matter what, you wont be able to get in. At the places you mentioned, I get the feeling that its more of a "We don't necessarily want falangs here but if they are willing to pay more for it, then lets suck it up and let them in" sort of thing going on. It's similar to how the Japanese tourists are treated in other countries simply because they have the money. It's similar to what you would see at the GoGo Bars and their policy with Indian and Black people, some places simply wont let them in, while others have different policies (if they come with a bunch of Asians/Falangs let them in). They will tolerate it because they realize that its for the greater good of revenue. Do I agree with this policy? No! Do I understand this business strategy? Somewhat. My philosophy has always been - If they dont want you, why would you want to go there? There are plenty of other places that would love to have you and would gladly accept you and your money. Go there and be treated like a king!!! ps - I've seen the girls at Casears (where the price for falangs are 2x the normal cost), nothing would lead me to recommend to my falang friends to go there for that price. In fact, my favorite girl there used to work at CP2 where she saw plenty of falangs. Same girls - Different Places.
