Just thought that we would get a Takara thread going. About in the middle of Pat Pong 1 (same side as Madrid). You take the lift up - There is usually a hello girl hustling on the sidewalk. I like this place because - you can take a seat at the bar - order a drink if you like - or not - no pressure & look at the meat in the showcase.
The fish tank would hold maybe 30 - but the times I have been there I saw 10 to 15 watching a TV off camera. The girls are friendly - wave - smile - their usual stuff. If you see one you like - a room is 500 - with Body Massage. Extras you get told to negotiate with the girl. Larger rooms are 600 - certainly big enough for 3 but I think they have only one. It was my experience that the girl wanted 1000 for the "works". P.S. these ladies do hand jobs like Catholic girls. Best Ever. 500 baht ought to cover that.
I was interested to note that this Soapy was mentioned in the excellent book Private Dancer by Stephen Leather - a free download on the net. I have always been treated right in Takara. Been there many times. They got some young cuties. Need FR.

Was there several years ago. Only 1 experience (not much of a sample), but that was enough; I obviously picked wrong. Think I paid 1500 to the bar (at that time, it was the usual "room and service" ).
1. AFTER we went upstairs, took her 15 minutes to get ready (collect her soap, shampoo, etc.). I just hung around in the hall.
2. Wash, full body massage. 1 shot.
3. Then moved to narrow bed. There she SAT. Another massage? "Tired". Another shot? "How much you pay?" "Give me 1000 more."
4. She wandered off to find a cigarette.
5. On returning, repeated step 3.
Maybe it was just her way of thinking that each shot was priced individually rather than a group rate.
There an hour, including 15 minute hall wait. Got fed up (hey, SOL 5 minutes walk), got dressed and left.
She obviously an optimist: asking for a tip as I left (yea, that was going to happen). She walked me to the elevator, reached inside, and pushed the Ground floor button. I pushed the 3rd floor button, stopping back at the bar to complain. Didn't expect to get any refund; just thought management should know. They seemed genuinely disinterested.
One of the worst experiences ever. Have never been back. Understand it was ONE girl, but management's attitude did leave an impression.

Wow, Takara sure is a dead thread on this forum, despite being right in the middle of Patpong One. Maybe it's the male tout in the street, demanding a tip. Anyway, I plead guiltier than most. Despite living in Bkk., I hadn't been up to Takara for about a decade. So it was about time to avoid the cigarette smoke and loud music of the gogo bars, and walk up the stairs to Takara.
While the customer ascends, a bell rings and the 15-20 girls in Takara have a moment to assemble and arrange themselves for inspection. There were quite a few I had no interest in, but Miss Pear was not among them. In fact, she stood out in what was, to me, a fairly motley crew.
So, Miss Pear it was, for all of 2000 baht for the session. Once in the room, unwelcome demands for drinks and/or tips were made by a female service toad. I told her later, and she shut the door, leaving us alone.
Takara is an old-fashioned soapy, in that they still have the rubber raft on the floor routine, which I definitely enjoy. In fact, the tub was forgotten about, as Pear asked me to recline on the soapy raft right away. This I was happy to do, and received a very fine soapy body massage early on in the session. Then to the bed, where I lay down, but soon realized that Miss Pear would never have been hired on her massage skills alone. So I got her to lie down and reversed roles happily, oiling her up and indulging my sense of touch on her flawless skin. The inevitable "full service" that followed left me a happy man indeed. We cuddled and talked pleasantly afterwards.
Following the session, I fulfilled my promise to the toad, buying a drink for Miss Pear, and even tipping the toad 40 baht. Pear sat with me in the common area, nursing her drink while I fondled her slender thighs. A couple of times, the downstairs bell announced an upcoming customer, so Pear got up and joined the group of girls, tho looking away from the customer, seemingly discouraging his interest. Then back to me she came, for further stroking. I think she was gaining face by having her customer (me) lavish more affection on her while her colleagues were looking on. At any rate, I enjoyed it, and hope to return to Miss Pear soon.

2000 baht a session now?
I wandered in at night about 8 months ago and was told B1600. I got up to leave and we settled on B1000.
I liked walking around Patpong during the day or early evening and getting the `happy hour' touts enticing you up some shitty stairs to some three bedroom place where there are 5-8 usually average girls, but occassionally a diamond in the rough. I think these places double as the `ping-pong’ shows during the night.
Infact, the few places I`ve visited in Patpong have always been B1000, maybe B1200 at a stretch.

Yes they will size you up and charge what they can get. I paid 1500 about 2 months ago and I will never return.
I picked a nice smiling face with shapely bod but she was a pain in the arse right from the beginning. I let it be known I was no tourist so she could 'get' that I could become a many time repeater as I work not to far away.
We did get it done only because she was so attractive to me in spite of the scars on her stomach. She pressed for tips several times even tho she would not do some of the simple things I requested.
When we got back to the bar she was still pressing for more than the 500 baht I should not have given her.
If this girl is any indication of the ethic there, it has gone way downhill from any other time.
Maybe I am spoiled by Tulips and Eden. But I prefer to give my baht where they aim to please, not aim to max out and finish.
