seems the wonderful goverment in thailand is not concerned about terrorism- and with nothing else to do- the newspaper the NATION says this morning that they feel the soapys might also have sex going on!!!!!! My god - not that!!! I assume they feel after having paid to be bathed and cleaned- you would just get hot again having sex and simply wasted your good baht-
first they close the bars at 1pm- so that when my flight from ny gets in at midnight- by the time I get to hotel its too late to do anything but go to bed - and now this!!
good thing to- I come to bkk/pattaya twice a year- NORTHWEST AIRLINES just raised the minimum fare you can use miles to upgrade from 1300 to 2400 dollars- and with all these changes- I might just have to go to the brothels around reno instead- its 15 hours closer- and at least there ----they know there might be some sex going on at KIT KAT< KITTYS< MUSTANG etc etc regards to all greg (stainyourpanty@aol.com)

And try Cathay Pacific. You get in at 10:30 am with the whole day ahead of you. And it's cheaper and much better service than NWA.

this had nothing to do with April fools day- it was in the middle of NATION which some hotels give out instead of Bangkok Post-- it said some soapys seem to be a front for a brothel- as you know eden uses that junk hotel down the soy- as the club is now a meeting place bar and not a brothel-
yes I did mean 1am and not 1 pm-for bar closing-- lost my head- and lastly THAI airways is starting a non stop NEW YORK -BKK leaves at noon arrives at 4pm- same thing wrong with that as is wrong with Cathay Pacific- and EVA- all my miles are with sky team of continental/klm/northwest- and that means I fly coach or pay 6000 bucks for business-

So because the article appeared in the middle of Nation, it can't possibly be an April Fools joke, can it?
The best April Fools jokes are precisely the ones that have an element of possibility to them.
I expect that by tradition, all British newspapers and TV channels will work a prank into their schedule somewhere or another. For example, I think that it was BBC Radio 2 that reported that London was increasing the Congestion Charge for vehicles to enter the city, from £5 to £8. At least, I think it was a prank! Knowing Ken Livingston (Socialist Mayor), it's just possible.
Forty years ago on BBC television, they had a classic of the genre, when they showed the Italian Spaghetti harvest, where farmworkers plucked the pasta from Spaghetti trees. At the time, legions of people who had never travelled abroad and knew little of Italian food, believed it.
I suspect that you've also fallen victim to this one, sandontoes.
