That's why I found it more fun to go with a group of friends, as the farangs I found at MPs seem to generally fall in that same category - it's about fun (most seem not to have figured that out).
(Oh, and there's certainly enough girls there...)

Possible explanations:
(1) This is a small world. What if after chatting with a stranger in a MP, it turned out the stranger knows someone you know back home. I wouldn't want that to happen if I were on a stealth trip to BKK's MPs. You never know if the other guy has a big mouth or not.
(2) Some guys like to hunt alone.
(3) The chatty stranger could be a PI hired by the gf or wife.
(4) They think you are trying to scam them.
(5) They don't like you.
