Went to a fine MP a few years back in a taxi but didn't get a note of the name; this is my best description (!) - cheers.
It's near a bend in a road, it has a flight of maybe 15 light coloured steps up to the entrance, the fishbowl is to the left as you go in, and the rooms and corridors are quite spacious. (I think there was a red neon sign on the roof, but not sure.)

Was it in Bkk? Where did you get the taxi from? How long did it take you to get there? Any landmarks/hotels nearby that you remember? Did you pass other MPs on the way?

The taxi picked me up from my hotel up by the river (north of Grand Palace?) and the journey took about 20 mins, so I thought it might have been a Ratcha or Phetchburi place, but I've since had a stroll past most of these and none match up.
I'll pretty sure the road wasn't as wide as these though- the MP was on the left on approach just past a slight left-hand bend, if I remember. I don't recall any other landmarks, just a lot of left and rights in the taxi.
Maybe it doesn't exist any more; it's only a personal thing- you know, you have these memories that stay with you, it was a mind-blowing session.

Yup, Plaza. The bend would be on Makkasan Road. No "landmarks" on that stretch to remember. The lobby presents itself as more "spacious" than most. And it's one of the most common venues targeted by the taxi drivers. But it goes without saying that the "mind blowing" session you remember was driven by the provider and not the infrastructure....
Wheee... more fun than Stick's weekly picture contest. Dottie, RTB and DF plan to split the prize....

I guess its Chao Phraya 2, big entrance up a flight of steps and the Fishbowl to the left. The corridors are very spacious and dim lighted.
