Gents,
I am heading for BKK, yet am slighly worried that the New Cleopatra establishment may be closed. Their website is down. The site had not been updated frequently, so that may not say something.
Any insight?
And yes - there are more palces. I just prefer the New Cleo...

New Cleopatra used to be buzzing around 5pm. Now, there's a lack of pu-ying at least as far as numbers go, although quality is still not too bad.
Last week at 5 pm the model lounge was closed, one model sitting with around 6 sideliners and just one girl in fishbowl. This depopulation being through lack of pu-ying, not through high customer demand.
Another night recently 9pm model lounge closed, 2 models in cafe area, around 7 sideliners and maybe 5 in fishbowl, one or two getting on in years. A year or two ago you'd expect twice those numbers of pu-ying at least.
Falang surcharge included, THB2000 fishbowl, THB3000 sideliners, THB4000 models.
Still worth a visit, as even among the reduced numbers there is some quality, but not as good right now as in its heyday. These things can turn around quickly as girls switch venues on a daily basis.

New Cleopatra is presently closed for renovations. No reopening date given, but building work is going on at the moment and it looks as if it will be some while before business resumes.
Looks to be quite a comprehensive refit. Some other MPs should take note.
