There is one in the back of Udon Hotel and one more in back of Charoensi Palace Hotel. I think the the girls cost 1700 in these places. The level is lower than BKK in general.
Pick-up karaokes a better choice in Udon. Girls generally cost 1500 ST in many karaoke bars. Some real cuties and most of them very friendly.

Oscar's a good place.
Tuktuk drivers will probably know how to get there; I'm not sure if they get a commission. If they look at you blankly when you say "Oscar", say "aw-suh-kah" and "massage". Note that the name outside is not written in english, only thai. (hence "aw-suh-kah")
However. The place is 99% thai, and you'll get plenty of disapproving looks from the other patrons. The papasan speaks some english, but the girls don't seem to speak much of it. Fishbowl, but the deal is that you sit down and have one of the fancy-dressed waiters bring you drinks while you look at (and call over and talk to) the girl of your choice, afterwards going to the room. Not the walk-in/point/go-upstairs scenario.
Price was around 1500-1700 as I recall.
I vaguely recall it being next to the Udon Hotel, but I may be off on that.

I thought they were for singing and perhaps some playful touching. Also, I would guess you need to speak lots of thai.
