General Soapie Survey Trip Report

I had some free time with my SO out of town so I got to do some Soapy field studies. Here are my observations.
For Avita, Utopia, and Victoria Secret where I was able to drop seed..... see TRs in the individual threads.
The others below were just my entry, talk to papasans, perhaps having a drink and then leave with impressions.
The prices for all these Soapies were under 2000THB with the lowest price quoted me at 1300. All were for 2 hours except for some of the sideliners.
Rama IX area

LaDefense
Directions; Just go out Rama IX and keep to the left and about 5 minutes after the left turn needed for Utopia (2nd light after Asoke) you will see the huge LaDefense sign. As you approach there is a huge dirt
parking lot to turn in to. As you walk up to the building you will see a door on the side with nice steps. This is the coffee shop which actually has several sofas with girls on offer while you drink at comfortable sofa/chairs and tables.
Around the corner is the front of the building with a larger entrance and the fishbowl is to your right as you enter. Nice wide glass. There were 30 girls in the bleechers at about 6pm the night I was there. The papasans were very friendly. No place to sit and gaze though. You stand in front of the FB and choose. Bummer for me as I like to take it all in slowly while
sipping a drink.
I might go back some day but on this night I was just investigating before my real destination of Victoria Secret. [ BTW.... my college roomate was the founder of Victoria Secret in San Francisco back around 1983. The
first store was at the Stanford Shopping Mall at Stanford University ]
Catherine
This place is just down the sub soi from La Defense which is on the corner of Rama IX. These two places are a notch downmarket from places like Mirage, Poseiden and Utopia. Roads are bumpy, parking lots unpaved
and buildings in need of minor paint/touchups. But we are not in Real Estate when we go here so who cares ?
The fishbowl at Catherines was much the same as at La Defense.
Petchiburi Area

BIWA
Directions; Petchiburi Rd from Asoke toward RCA, you first pass Angelina, and Avita on the left. Keeping left thru the Ekamai intersection it shows up on the left as a small looking diner. Nothing like the huge buildings of Utopia Poseiden or La Defense. Parking lot is very very small but the attendents were friendly and helpful to this farang. Inside is a coffee shop to the left
and large semi-circular fishbowl with a single row of plastic benches against a wall where numerous Thai men are seated gazing. The night and time [ Sat, 8pm]
I was there, only ONE girl was in the bowl (quite sexy looking) with some 20 guys on the benches, all no takers. I assume all the others were upstairs with ankles in the air or bathing some Thai fellow.
This was definitely the bottom of the low market Soapies. But I suspect the girls service may compensate for that. Don't know.
Nancy
Directions; From BIWA you exit the parking lot and can only turn left. But you immediately must make
a U turn under the highway and before you are turned around you see a Condo like looking garage
with a Nancy sign on it.
I liked this place very much although again it is not posh feeling at all. Very large linoleom floored
dance floor looking room but filled with many tables and 4 chairs in front of a medium fishbowl. To the left in the open are the sideliners under bright lights. You can relax and sip a drink and select your angel at leasure. She can then be called out to drink with you to establish compatibility.
I saw several girls I wanted to pound but I had just finished at Avita so my first Nancy girl will have to be another day.
I will definitely return here as the talent looked very good to me and I liked the tables allowing
a long.... long look before selection. This is because some of the hottest girls would be returning
from a gig upstairs having been selected earlier for good reason.
Meree
Directions; Coming out of Nancy parking lot you must turn left and Meree is 100 yds down on the left.
Meree is a much bigger place than BIWA or Nancy. It has a more upscale feel to it.
It was pouring rain the night I was there. The parking lot is outdoors like BIWA but much much larger. There were attendents who had huge umbrellas to escort me to and from my car very efficiently. Nice.
You walk up some stairs and the fishbowl is to the right of the seating which are nice sofas in a restaurant type lounge. The sideliners are straight ahead, very well lit, and up higher than the FB girls. Papasan very accomodating and was not upset when I told him that
tonight I was just looking. As girls came in to the FB they would often get right back up as they were re-chosen very quickly. Girl quality was very high here IMO.
Will return some day for sure.
