Looks like someone actually managed to get a new MP license over in Samutprakarn according to the ILM website. Probably courtesy of the Asavahame family.
Prices and middle of the road quality, as far as I can tell from the photos anyway. Looks about on par as Riviera on Phetburi or Malenna near the Meng Jai intersection.

Looking at the map though, I think this place has been here a while, if it's the one i'm thinking of, very very Thai.

Makes more sense though, as they haven't handed out a new license in a long time, especially after the Goh Lak vs. Chuwit thing over the never-to-be monster of an MP next to First Class on Ratchada.

You are probably right.
I remember when in Chiang Mai a long time ago, I was at an MP that caters 99% to Thais, and when I walked in, surprisingly, Thai customers offered me to share their Whisky or beer bottles (large beers). They were very interested as to which girls I liked in the fishbowl adn were telling me which girl they were going to choose and awaiting my reaction. I always positively complimented their selection even though the girls they picked were not my choice at all.
Papasans were laughing telling me that a lot of the Thai men (older ones), were coming more to talk about their lives while being washed by a cutie rather than going full sex for an hour. They also told me girls did not like Farangs very much because all they want is to f***, f*** and f*** some more (and there I thought we were going to MPs to play cards with the girls LOL)

Yeah, I've known some friends, far from old who opted for just the bath and sometimes just have the girl do a straight massage or sing a few songs on the karaoke machine. Upon inquiring why they did this... the response was along the lines of: I've been going to MPs since I was 14 and now that I'm in my 30's, 40's, I've slept with thousands of girls. It's not even a big deal any more to get with every single last one I pick. It's different when you grow up with it. Like maybe if you grew up in Mexico, you wouldn't get so excited when you go to a Mexican restaurant.
Also, supposedly it has the side effect of increasing one's 'credit' with said girl if you pick her again. They feel like they owe you something and it's usually more than worth it.
Myself, I've only been here 10 years so maybe I'm not as jaded, so far no girls get a pass. Hehe.

Interesting.
I've been to quite a few places that cater to mostly Thais. And I'll keep going to them just because sometimes I get tired of a certain atmosphere in the places that cater to Farangs. And also for the adventure.
In my experience I have had a substantial amount of failure in these places--or rather they failed to entertain me much with lack of service mind. I wouldn't say it's 50%, I can't add it all up. But an amount: poor attitude and performance--starfish stuff. Teasing you... and then suddenly playing the virgin. Et cetera.
The other percentage has been great--probably because I speak the language--and all I'd hoped for. Something new and exciting and with the feeling of exoticness...

Now, forgive me for saying this, but this is Plain Stupid. Why go to an MP then? can't these guys just go to a Karaoke Bar? or a regular Massage place? Most MP girl's massage skills are not good (and why should they be since a MP is nothing more than a Brothel).
Maybe the Thais think different, but as far as I am concerned, when I go to an MP and pick a girl, I want to make sure I f*** her. If I'm looking for a girl to have a nice evening of talking with or anything else with no sex, I can go to any Place and pickup a regular girl (there are so many girls available for dating)
