Soapy massage is where the girl lays you down on a foam bed and slides over you.
Oil massage is similar to a Thai massage, but oil is used to massage as opposed to 'bare' hands.
Soapies are usually provided in large massage parlors where full service is all inclusive and no options are offered.
Oil massage are usually provided in smaller venues, where 'happy ending' or full service is option. Mind you though that some smaller venues like EZ Massage provide no option, just all inclusive service.

To make it even more clear to newbies:
Soapy is pure sex business... hence the price level starting in the thousands...
Oil massage is a standard at every of the trillion of little or larger massage shops and parlors and spas all over Thailand and not necessarily connected to sex... In BKK and especially in certain areas like Lower Sukhumvit etc. but not only there you might expect and ask or will be asked for "special" which is a happy ending delivered by hj, bj, fs depending on shop and provider.
