Best Japanese restaurant in town?
I like Aoi in Emporium and Shintaro in the Four Seasons (Regent) but I am no expert.
P.S. Has anyone tried the new Japanese restaurant at the JW Marriott - Tsunami?

Abrak, I was thinking of those two as I read the thread title. I prefer however Shintaro. I find Aoi a bit expensive for what it is. But they have a very good diverse menu.
For very good prices and very decent food try having lunch at any of the restaurants in Thaniya. They have many set lunches for less than 200.
Caronte, you must the Brazilian expert. Right?

he said it was great, the bar needed some help and I read that booking is necessary.

Just eat at Tsunami 2 days ago, I ate at the teppenyaki table which it is just ok. The food is tasty but nothing special.
We did order some regualr hot food and sashimi
wich was pretty good. The decor is nice and it is the newest japanese restuant in town so reservation on weekend is wise.
I agree Aoi is a nice place, but for some reason, all the TG want to eat at Fuji rather than Aoi, can never understand what is the attraction of Fuji

Juniper I agree TG's seem to favor three places:
Fuji
MK Suki and
Barbaque Plaza
So son't spend you money trying to impress them or you will be disappointed.
