Anyone been to Maru Kaiseki Restaurant at Soi 5-6 Suk 55 (Thonglor) ? Apparently you are looking at 5000baht per person there due to the import of fresh ingredients straight from Japan.
Any reports?

I will start saving up.
I had a 10 Baht noodle dish in Pinklao. It was delicious.
No it is not a typo.
Ten Baht.
Hawker misunderstood that I did not want any meat and just gave me the noodles in soup. Very nice of him though, to entertain what he thought was my special request. No black faces or grumpy condescension by the noodle hawker.
Try that in a snobbish French restaurant.

Maru Kaiseki is top in class. And yes, a bit more than most, but you will not be disappointed. Recommended.

Maru Kaiseki is really that Good? Does anyone have any dining experience there or have their phone number? I am interested in trying a really good Japanese restaurant since Fuji is ok, however not that great.
