I can not take it anymore. So much food in LOS!! Thai, Jap, Chinese, Korean, Mayal, PI, Isan, Vietnamese, Cuban, Mexcian, Italian, German, Irish, American, Israeli, Egyptian, Lebanese, Indian, Pakistani, Iraqi, Turkish, Swiss, French, Danish, Norwegian, and English.
Where can I find a bowl of borscht and black bread???

There's a Russian restaurant in Soi 1 on the left that will give you what you want. Can't remember the name, though.

The name of the Russian restaurant on soi 1 is "Russian Forest." It's actutally on the first sub-soi on the left.
Good food, but I vaguely recall them not having Borscht. Or russian beer (they said it cost a fortune to import). They did have an excellent selection of voBKa.

The Lebanese Restaurant at Bamboo bar will be adding a Russian menu soon. I just tried a few dishes, they were great! I had the блинчики с мясом {blinchiki myasom} (pancake with meat), some манты {manti} (dumplings) with сметана {smetana} (sour cream), a couple of salads: салат оливие (Oliviye salad) and салат винегрет (Vinegret salad). The menu is still work in progress, but I'm loving it.
