Anyone have any good ideas on where to go and eat in Bangkok on Loy Krathong. I've done the Oriental and Sheraton sort of thing.
Looking for something different.

...my FAVORITE holiday (they don't expect gifts)..take a girl and let her lead you to the dock...take the boat and enjoy the view..never spent more than 1,000b (Ihate posting numbers since there is always the idiot waiting to fudge numbers). AnyHow----it's a good sail.....

Nice, easy, cheap, mostly Thai place is the Yok Yor restaurant with huge riverside terrasse (westbanks). It's opposite of River City Shopping Complex which is next to Sheraton Orchid (Eastbanks). They have a frequent shuttle boat service from the Dinner Cruise piers in front of River City Complex...

Ohhh, btw. they have Coyote Dancing after 9pm  but nevertheles it's more a Thai family rest. than anything else...
