I would appreciate any advise on the food outlets of Siam Paragon as I might spend one or even two afternoons there during my trip.

I don't think of it as a Thai food place. A favorite place for western food. For me it's lox and bagel at Au Bon Pain. Meat pie stuff at Secret Recipe. Then point to an interesting looking desert at one of the counters.
There are probably more choices than are dreamt of in my philosophy.

Love that place -especially the Cosmetic counters -there are some gorgeous women working there.
OK now to food of the digestive kind, There is a pretty large food court in Siam -I keep away from the Western Food and head directly to the Thai "up-country" style counters -I believe there are two of them. I usually load up on the Pork and Chicken satay, the also have a BBQ Chicken that is split and served on a bamboo leaf, They also have great dumplings and some leaf type appetizer in a clear type of gelatin -not sure what it is but its tasty.
There is a ton of great food choices there -some very healthy other very detrimental to the waistline. Stop by the Supermarket when your there - there is also a great liquor store with dreamy clerks.

The bagels at Au Bon Pain are very photogenic, but like Wonder White Bread inside...a waste of good lox.
Better, go to Centtral Chidlom, in the market, and buy passable bagels, and a package of lox, some red onion, cream cheese, and light the Menorah, spin a dreidle, and do the Horah!
