Didn't know Livingstone was an artist as well. I guess I learn something new every day.

"Butt Cheeks" contest and other fun, they allow swimming. Also had food at their thai sister restaurant the other night. Great food and at 1.30 am the place was still swinging with live music

Hi All,
The management of Livingstone’s, Suk has set up this handle. Soi 33 for the purpose of answering any questions you might have, as well as informing everybody of happenings/events we will arrange.
Livingstone’s is the former Timbevati and was taken over by the new owner and management in Nov. 04. After some extensive renovations we reopened the doors on New Years Eve.
Being fortunate enough to have a pool we are arranging events on a regular basis and the next event is Brazilian Night on Sat. 19/3 at 7 pm. This is the first of a series of theme nights. On these nights we will try to provide our guests with a taste of different foods and a bit of fun culture from countries around the world.
This coming Saturday there will be a Brazilian buffet, eat all you want for 397 THB. There will also be a Lambada dance competition for those of you that want to move your limbs a bit. Partners can be provided. We will also have some contests for best costume (girls & guests), best butt cheeks (Copacabana style)  and some other fun. Caipirinhas will be on happy hour all night for 79 THB. The evening will end in our Sports Lounge with some good music (Latin) and cold drinks.
This will be our 3rd pool party event. The first six weeks ago was a lot of fun, but we have to apologize to all those that did not receive the service they deserved. Honestly we got a bit overwhelmed by the amount of guests and fell behind both in the bar and the kitchen.  The 2nd two weeks ago was better, though some mistakes was still made. (Not enough action and the PA system didn’t work was a couple.) Hopefully we will improve even further this time.
At Livingstone’s we have the space and facilities to cater to parties of up to 150 people and with 3 award winning chefs we are confident we will be able to cater to most wishes for those who wants something special for be it a birthday, company party or wedding etc. etc.
We are presently completing our hotel rooms (18) and aim to be open in April. We will announce room rates as soon as these are decided.

We walked by Livingstone's on Soi 33 last night, a few of their girls were out front handing out flyers. They looked ok.
This sounds like a lot of fun, I think I will be there, the only question is whether to bring Dew or Mist, or come without a girl and adopt one of theirs. Decisions, decisions.

Just returned from said Brazillian night. Not a bad theme; some of the girls were in cute feathered costumes and masks. Good spread of girls; most with personality, one or two that looked fresh off the bus.
Big pool, tables surrounding it. 357 baht for the Brazillian buffet, and the food was reasonably good. What I enjoyed was the drinks. 150 baht for a Mai Tai - served in a hollowed-out pineapple. I consider that to be a pretty good deal. 99 baht for "Angel Pee," also served in a pineapple. Frou-frou girlie drinks, but damn tasty ones, and served well. I think the draft Singha I had was 69 baht.
The general staff was attentive and friendly. This is good.
The bikini girls, well, aside from being good eye candy, I liked them less. They started sitting down with restaurant patrons after a while; one walked by and asked one of the others (in thai) why I was sitting alone. I asked her the same thing.  So she sat with me, and I bought her a drink. Then immediately stood up and sat down at the table she'd been sitting at/talking with before she came and sat with me, pulling a switcheroo with a girl that was far less attractive.
At the time, I was game - this one had better english, and seemed nice enough. Alas, I began to regret my choice before her drink (my second lady drink of the evening, in as many minutes) arrived. Pretty funny that she told me she was 28 at the table, and then had her age announced over the PA as 35.  She'd also said that she was barfined from Factory as Emergency Bikini Personnel by one of the Livingstones female staff. That part was probably true.
Even funnier, was that within 5 minutes of buying the second lady drink, the restaurant fired up their costume contest, and the second girl left too. So there I was sitting alone with two full lady drinks in front of me (150 baht apiece). How do you spell 'chump'? C H U...
The winner of the costume contest was to be determined by whomever collected the most flowers, which could be purchased from the staff who were trying to sell them to you on a regular basis.
It was at that point I cut out and left. "What, you get SMS from your Gik?" Uhh... yeah... that's it. Bye!
1094 baht total - 4 drinks for me, 2 lady drinks, one buffet.
