The New York Deli staff have poor hygene.
I have passed by many times and seen staff touching their noses, fiddling with their hair near the ingrediants (especially the ladyboy who works there), touching the bread and and condiments without wearing the plastic gloves, etc... I have eaten there (the daredevil that I am) a few times and the sandwiches are average.
I went to the Ploenchit center branch in Sukhumvit soi 2.

Tried the branch on Silom. No complaints about hygiene there. Not much like a Deli at all, though. No real complaint considering sandwiches available here.

New York Deli still alive in Bangkok. Not sure how they continue, absolutely the worst imitation of "deli" food anywhere and I never see customers inside.........
