I haven't been back to Bangkok since I moved last year, so I can't assure you this info is still accurate. Coreleone's, on Suk soi 12 I believe, had some food they would cook outside starting around 8 or 9 another bar down the street on the same side had a free buffet at around the same time-the name of that place escapes me. And Bamboo Bar on Suk soi 3 used to take a set out some free food at around the same time (but that food would get devoured quite quickly).

someone told me yesterday that there's a place called Blue Lightning on Soi 7/1 that serves free burgers from 20:00 until 01:00 on Friday nights

I walked thru Soi Cowboy this morning and noticed that Toy bar, Suzie Wong's and Sheba's had a lot of balloons out front. Not sure if that means they'll be having anything special tonight. I'd imagine it was indicative of last night
