Either a new post on El Coyote or reply to old posts. So reply. Went to this place last night, sat at the bar with mostly locals and ordered a margarita, enchilada dinner and bottle of water without looking at the menu. Food and drink was good but not great, ambiance good. But was WAY OVER PRICED! Paid Baht 750, $20 plus for this meal that would have been better, larger portions and 2/3rds this price anywhere else. What the f*** is so special about this place to charge these kind of prices.

The prices are rather high, but the food is so much better than any other Mexican restaurant I've visited in Thailand. Comparing Coyote to Los Cabos is like comparing a chateaubriand to microwaved dog food.

Ate at Coyote yesterday after an Embassy visit. I had the chicken burrito and my wife a half rack of pork ribs.
My burrito was on the luncheon at 195 baht and was quite good, although the beans were too firm.
The ribs were priced at 385 baht and were more than my wife could eat. I finished them off.
Quite good food and the wait staff was very pleasant on the eyes.
