There's at least one all you can eat Dim Sum lunch in Emporium, around the third floor or so in the back. The sign is in English, so it shouldn't be hard to find. Not cheap (Chinese food in BKK seems to be expensive) but okay. There is another place right on Sukhumvit by Emporium, just between Emporium and Soi 24. It's a la carte and just okay as well. I've not had outstanding dim sum in BKK yet. But I can tell you some very good places elsewhere (like NYC).

A friend took me to one near Silom, near the Central Dept. Store, and I thought it was as good as I've had in the US. I'll look for the address...
I've heard of Issan Barn. Isn't it on soi 23, near the far end of Cowboy?

Notice there are a couple of members from Hawaii.
Is there any place in Thailand to get a Hawaiian Style mixed plate (Shoyu Chicken, Mac Salad, Spam, Teri Beef and two scoops of sticky rice). How about a spam musubi or manapua??
I'm sure I could get my TGF into eating Hawaiian food, besides my member of course.

donno about hawaiian food in town, but I can highly recommend an excellent Issan Restaurant and dead cheap.
It's a 5 min walk from BTS Phayatai Station on the right hand side in Soi Rang Nam. The soi goes parallel to Si Ayuthaya Rd. Great food, nice staff and total Thai experience.....some other good restaurants to find in this soi....check it out!
