Yes you can order bottled water in gogo bars and beer bars, I have many times.
BTW- Allow me to divulge a closely guarded secret that was passed on to me from a very wise source. Going into a gogo bar and ordering a bottled water, or orange juice or other non alcholic drink can sometimes impress the hell out of some of the ladies. Most of these ladies are so used to being around men who are constantly getting drunk ( Fathers, brothers, uncles, neighbors, punters, etc. ) that when one comes along that isn't getting drunk, it can actually be something of a turn on for them and can sometimes lead to some very nice benefits  . I drink bottled water, we get it delivered by the truck load each week, we also bath in it as if you dont want to drink it, then you should not bath in it, same goes for brushing teeth etc and washing food, all done by bottled water by the truckload. No good drinking bottled and then using tap water to rinse sh_t, cos you end up consuming it anyway, we also wash our dishes in bottled water and the bottles as well, no good having the bottles washed in tap water if the bottles are going to hold the bottled water and not the tap water. I take my own ice with me made from bottled water when we go out as well and I buy bottled water, check the seal, to wash anything I buy to eat off the streets or in reestairants, I get weird looks pulling out my lettuce leaf and rinsing it and then drying it with a tissue, but its my safety I am concerned with.

No problem ordering bottled water in the go-go's. I have many times but not always cheap. Have had them tell me no problem but the water still cost 120 baht same as the beer in the go-go.

noty always brings his plastic cutlery and paper cups and dishes. it was annoying at first, but I am sort of used to it by now. he even brings his own condoms!!

I would always advise someone to drink bottled water, I do at home, (but I also drink tap water when in a hurry)...20 litres 50B.....and some mugs pay 120B in a Go Go for 300ml...hehehehe....see beer is cheaper!!!

two points
1) people talk about using imodium bad idea I once had a serious chew out by a doctor for using that stuff
imodium is basically a chemical cork it stops you from physically going to the toilet
this is ok at home when your boby is basically used to the inviroment but when your in another country not so good
when the world is falling out your bum your body is basically telling you that you have ingested something it does not like and wants to get rid of it asap
with imodium it stops you from doing this and there have been cases when the offending substance was bacterial it has overwelemed the body and even killed the person
if you get the trots plenty of liquids get oral rehydration powders from the chemist about 4-10 bhat a packet
keep drinking non alcholholic and non cafine drinks until you piss is very pale
make sure you keep up your food intake but make sure its bland
gets some disento and use that
if after a couple of days your still in trouble use your travel insurance to get a check up thats whats its there for

what did he use a 15 year old guide book to the delights of siam he found in a second hand bookshop
rule no1 buy a up to date guide book any guide book spend a bit of money I can guarentee that it will pay for itself in some way
read it from begining to end
then get on the forum
use the F******* search engine to check out previous posts
and if you are realy paranoid the peace corps publish a book called "where there is no doctor"
the title is self explantetory read to your hearts content

I just have this principle on not paying for drinking water. I am so glad that the gas stations here give you a big bottle for every 400 THB of gas that you buy. If I run out of water early, I just drive around BKK for a while until I need gas so I can get my free water.
