Curious to know if anyone has tried "Pendolasco." It's an Italian restaurant on Suk Soi2, down the soi a ways beyond Annie's. They are supposed to have an Italian chef. I've not been, only heard anecdotes, but would be curious to know if this is a good Italian restaurant right in the heart of debauchery? Am not in LOS at the moment, or I'd take a gander myself. Perhaps a soapie, then a bit of pasta, lol!

Has nothing to do with google. I have been to the Central Department Store (Chitlom) food loft many times, and for some reason my memory failed me and I thought it was Dulio's instead of Gianni. If I had looked it up on google (or elsewhere) I would have gotten it right.

Why not just go to the Italian place right on the ground floor of the Grand Majestic hotel just across from Annie's?
Good place and very reasonable prices.

Thanks for the tip. Funny, never actually been in the Grand Majestic, as I tend to approach Annie's from the Soi 4 side, do the dirty deed, and skidaddle back to Soi 4. Didn't know they did Italian. When back in town, will have to try it, and if not too lazy, mozy down to Pendolasco too, and do a comparison test.

Good and very stylish (Bed-like) Italian is the "to die for", look for the "N2" complex on Suk. Soi 55 close to Petchaburi Rd.... but, "reasonable prices" ???

La Gritta does a very nice but small lunch buffet for 300 baht. A couple (two out of three) of really cute lassies serve the tables, while a tall female manager keeps her eye on everything. Table linen was spotless.
Much to recommend the place if one is in the lower Suk area, as opposed to an expensive hotel where a service charge is also added to the check bin.
