I went there about a year or so ago and the burger was great. Overpriced but, I thought I was getting reasonable value for my money. Personally I won't go back but I'm bringing my daughter and her friend to BKK this summer and I know they will want to eat at the cafÈ in BKK.

Unless your daughter gets out of the country a lot, you should encourage her to experience the different culture. She can always go to the hard rock at home. I always thought the pleasure of traveling to different places was to study the customs (you can learn a lot just seeing how other people do things differently, since this will challenge your assumptions), sample the grub, and f_ck the women. Anyway, that's what I would consider a true culturally enlightening experience.
Naturally, I don't come to LOS for the women, I come for the culture. LOL! I do have a cheeseburger in LOS occasionally, but not at McDonalds.

even though I am form the UK because of work in the past I lived in the US for a time on the west coast/bay area. The best burgers ever are the double double from "in and out burger" I wonder if there is a franchise oppertuity there. If not try the other chain on the east coast WHATTA BURGER.
If there is a brother out there that wants to slapp toooooo mudtch money on a franchise and end up giving it all to the police to keep them quite and all your life savings to the local food mafia I would love to have a decent burger again so open up one of them 2 franchises please.

In and Out burgers are great! Wish we had them on the East Coast. But at least we do have White Castle in certain areas. Mainly in the Northeast.
