Surprised nobody has mentioned the "Elvis burger" at Greyhound. Served on toasted bun with bacon. It is excellent. The beef tastes like "real" beef, something that cannot be said for most in BKK.

Greyhound Cafe is a group of restaurants. There are about 4 or 5 of them. One is at Emporium, and there is another at Central, Chitlom. I do not know where the others are.

White Castle or Crystal burgers are the best...
Falafels in Israel
Gyros in Greece or Melbourne, AU
Kebabs in Sydney (actually should be called a shwarma, technically)
Kimchi in Korea, or Japan
just a summary of foods people eat that taste great when you are bombed at 2am...
Thais dig Kao Dtom (boiled rice soup).
Still don't see the attraction myself.

Its fitting that you like White Castle (rat burgers). Are they still the cheapest burger on the market at 35 cents?
A perfect food day;
1. Plaza Athenee for Brunch,
Huge selection of fine foods from around the world. Tastefully done. Many hiso stunners walking through the lobby.
2. Vertigo for dinner
Alot of seafood choices, and spectacular views from the top of the Banyan Tree Hotel. Make sure its not raining or too windy before you go, since its on the rooftop without any covers.

This list can not be complete without Taco Bell for any USA resident. I swear if I had the money I'd open a Taco Bell on Sukhumvit half way between Cowboy and Nana. Operating hours would be 20:00 to 06:00.
Of course cold beer would also be sold.

Obviously not made up of recycled Elvis bits, but could this the "final' resting place of all those washed up Greyhounds? Recycling taken to the extreme!
