this is a good restaurant.. I went there the first time with a TG and was sort of dragged there.. not sure why I felt that it might not be good, perhaps too touristy an area...
However, it was very good and I have been back several times since .. food is good, prices reasonable ..
Location is great for almost everyone ..

So you guys recomend hunstman pub resturant down in the basement at landmark hotel. I am staying in that hotel and I got few tg lined up to party with me all night. Is nice to grab some food from there when we are hungry. May be breakfast

- I've had a lot of joy over the years using the tried and true "MK SUKI" outlets, - reasons being, often the TG will eat western food, but not really like it, whereas in MK you just all order what you do like, also its good to eat when [ as often ] you've been out chasing TGs and are a tad hungover, also, often the TG, particularly if not the BG variety, will want to bring some friends, so MK works fine with that, and apart from making the TG feel at ease, often as not she has a friend who is an even BETTER sort !! - also, MK SUKI shops are everywhere, generally clean, fresh food, and cheap - figure on feeding 5 or 6 people for well under 1000bt.

Sadly it's true; though it's not my idea of a romantic atmosphere, you can't go wrong with MK Suki for a (group of) TG. They love it.

Two great Italian restaurants: PANPAN on Soi 33 and L;OPERA on Soi 39. The latter has branches in Vientiene and (I think) Saigon).
There's a Thai/Filipino restaurant just off Soi 31 at the 4-way intersection about 300 me from Sukhumvit. It's good.
The New Cowboy Bar on Soi 22 does a mean chicken fried steak.
BOURBON STREET is owned by a Louisiana guy named Doug Harrison. A LONG time ago he was an employee of Fat George's (TEXXAN) but, they had a falling out. I'm from Louisiana, and I do not patronize Doug's place.
Most of the bars in Washington Square do some sort of free feed for the expats on the weekends. Doug CHARGES for his. That's sort of miserly.
Anyway, if I really miss Nawlins cooking I can always fly home.
Derby King on Pong 1 does great specialty hamburgers, dozens of different kinds, designed by Big Bill Sawyer. No, Bill lives in Phuket now.
Best steakhouse: still Neil's Tavern, Soi Ruamrudee off Witthayu (Wireless Rd.) close to the US Embassy.
Best pizzas: Pizza Company.

"Best pizzas: Pizza Company."? Surely you jest. I'm one of Bill H's biggest fan's but IMO that pizza is crap as far as pizza goes (it's OK for convenient fast food tho').
Maynbe you were limiting your reference to pizza by delivery? After all, you did already mention Pan Pan whose pizza I wouldn't necessarily call the best but surely it is superior to Pizza Co? There's plenty of decent "authentic" pizza in town, no?

- bit out of the way, but "Tee sud Issarn inter" on the popular soi Rangnam [ near victory monument -sky train] also a long time ex-pat US owner called Doug - do great Thai and Farang food, Steaks are Australian I think, and do a brilliant Icelandic cod in beer batter .... re pizzas, had one at the nicely located italian joint outside soi 7 skytrain exit .... soggy rubbish !! a pity, as a good place to watch the passing parade, mind you the pasta there gets a struggling pass ...

steakhouse - just opened recently in the corner of chidlom and sukhumvit (opposite from central) is the excellent 'park avenue'
we went there on the grand opening night for my dad's b-day and had a very good experience. their slogan is "chilled usda beef - never frozen" and i think it's flown in every week. we brought 2 bottles of 76 lafite, so we didn't get to sample the winelist, but their cellar is well-stocked and diverse, from what i could see.

the "Rib Room" on the 31st floor of the Landmark hotel
is also a very decent and quiet place - with nice view of the city.
