The one in the Landmark has been closed for a few months for refurbishing but I think its open again now. The buffet there is 800 baht and is very good. They had a sushi/sashimi bar and lots of other options. I'm really no expert at all but I found the food comparable to the similar priced menu at Tsu/Nami (I haven't had the pleasure of USD50 sushi....!) but of course all you can eat plus nice deserts gives the Landmark the edge.

Geez the quality better be damn good. At those prices they should throw in a couple of geisha's too! I do not think you will get too many takers here with guys complaining over 500 THB price increases in LT fees!

Hey Bitpump,
Funny you should ask- I just drove by there today and was reminiscing about it. Give me a bit and I'll go back and post the name and locale.
Here's why I've forgotten: You see, right after I wrote that bit up the Thai counter gal there hit me up to be her 'language friend'. You know the drill- I teach her Angrit she teaches me Thai...
A quite bland looking, slight runt with a humungous set of braces, because she was so direct I said sure, why not. Two days later we go to a movie and she tells me it's her b-day and she's really happy to be spending it with me.
Then, after the flick, she tells me she really likes me, invites me to go cell phone shopping the next day [reminding me it's her b-day], but informs me she only has Bt4,000 when the phone she wants to buy is Bt12K.
Incredulous, I play it dumb and suggest she can buy a nice phone with the money she has. c*** that she turned out to be- she kept insisting that it was worth buying the 'high quality' expensive number. And kept insisting and insisting and insisting. So I got outta there fast as I could.
I never saw her again after that, but that didn't stop her from calling me a dozen times with dramatic pleas for the phone or to help her into a new apartment.
Never went back to eat because her and her family and maybe her boyfriend live at the mouth of the [dead end] soi the restaurant is on.
Hopefully the twit will no longer be working there when I go into try it again soon.
