It would seem the word shrimp predates prawn and that according to dictionaries.com, prawn is a shrimplike creature. They may be bigger in Oz but they are a shrimp-like creature!
Besides, there ain't no better shellfish than a Maine lobster IMHO. And everyone knows you can only get those in the North Atlantic.
Now getting that out of the way, back to beef. I appreciate the survey but so many things seem to need some clarification and it's really pedantic to even try. The origin (state) beef from both locations (US and OZ) would affect the flavor as well as the age and whether they are grain or grass fed. Add to that when the imported beef arrived and was further cut.
At the end of the day, did you wash it down with Aussie red or US? or French or Italian? Was it a fun time with friends and family and if so, does it matter one iota who won the survey by a point?
Next time invite the rest of us!

Valid points raised and agree there are to many variables for one test to be conclusive.
Maine Lobster,, Ever tried a Tasmanian or West Australian Crayfish, that is the best I've tried but have never had access to a live Maine Lobby.
Definately invite others next time,, AHH yep was washed down with a nice Aussie Red.
