Heart Attack Grill burger..... wimps!
Not even close to the Fifth Third Burger served at the ballpark for the W. Michigan Whitecaps:
Fifth Third Burger
Yep nearly 5000 calories.
Of course if you need something closer to Thailand you can stop in Singapore and try the Yankee Burger at New York New York (a Restaurant).
It is 8 inches in diameter with all the fixins (chili, cheese, etc) and if you eat it all in less than a hour you get the meal free.... SGD32 with fries.
Being a regular consumer of the Wendy's triple I gave this a shot as it is only one pound of beef but the 8 inch bun is a killer...

anyone tried the burgers at "The Iron Fairies" on Thonglor?
and yes, when my thai friend said the name I laughed as well  But she emailed me a picture of a "Big Burger" from there and said it was her favorite in BKK and she lives here in the states so she knows a good burger!
just curious, went to the website and it seems like a unique and pretty cool restaurant/bar/blacksmith shop that I will check out next trip

Billed as the only place in Thailand where one can enjoy an authentic Chicago-style hot dog, the Slider Shack offers its very own take on this American favourite for 150 baht. Custom-made by a well-known German sausage house, the frankfurters come in poppy-seed buns with tomatoes, onions, sweet-pickle relish, dill-pickle spears, Italian hot peppers, mustard and celery salt.
Other menu highlights include the Deluxe Slider burger (120 baht) and the Coney Island Chili Slider burger with beef chilli and cheddar cheese (120 baht).
Also worth trying is the BBQ pork loin served with hash browns (100 baht) and Tater Tots (60 baht) which are freshly cooked to order in rice-bran oil and topped with cheddar and Coney Island chilli. All burgers are made by hand from a blend of tenderloin, sirloin and rib-eye beef.
