agree with the general consensus re "somone" 100% ..
However, to get back to the original query, - as mentioned, taking the BG to Nana breakfast is not on !! - the majority of BGs would be happy to either remain asleep, or go buy a 20 baht bowl of som-tum, - so if your are determined to entertain one, yes, go Thai style, BowGungPow or GlassHome would be my suggestions. - Good food, blue collar Thais, music - and not too expensive.

If I read Phantom right he was just having fun.
I think I remember the original post where the reference was made -well over a month ago-, and I think in that thread most people took it as the joke he meant.
Some have joked at him in person about the comment when going out to go-go bars and having seen him BFning a baboon!. Yes, P-V does go out at times with baboons!.
He made the mistake perhaps of thinking that he could take the comment everywhere and people would know he menat it mostly in jest.
Anyway, many made much worse generalizations in other places of the forum ... what surprises me is the fury of the answers to this one.
I tend to think that anyone who really says something like what Phantom said is joking and as such I take it -or if not that trying to annoy someone for the fun of it. But if I were to think that anyone really means from the heart with total conviction any such broad generalization of any group (race, nationality, etc.) such a person is beyond reason and does not even deserve a reply.
I am confident that despite Phantom being a f_ckwit, he is a cute, tender, nice good hearted f_ckwit ... who is most certainly going to buy me a few beers for having said these nice things about him now.

Well, since PV has apologised and most of us have been ready to kiss and make up, I don't think it serves much purpose to rake over the coals.
As for the 'much worse generalisations' - I can only think of the whore/bitch/slut brigade, most of whom don't escape a kicking for very long. And rightly not, imho.
Anyway, if you're now going to get a few free beers out of PV, I feel I should get a few freebies from our little Isaan friends. Well, OK, one freebie at least. Ý
