I have to agree with Bandit. Chicagoguy and I took TG's to the Soi 7 foodstalls. The environment is cleaner then the carts on the street. The wait staff is competent... maybe because of the competition. The TG's seemed to like the food!

I've heard about some good romantic dining and music along the Chao Phraya River. Any recommendations of godo restaurant around this place?? How about the dinner cruise, it it expensive for the ticket and food? Do they have a private room? Thanks for sharing!

I'm not sure about the THB 600 fare. Was it 200 for two persons ? Can't remember. But the price for the food on board is the same as at the restaurant.

Cabbages and Condoms is a great place to take someone. Falang or otherwise. Have a good dinner then treat your honeyko to a banana split. They are huge and very good. I brought my lady to this place last May and she was pleased with everything. She thought the comdom's were a nice touch.
