Will be in BKK this coming June. Just like to know more about the above enquiry. As I like good food and I don't mind even is road side hawker as well. Where what I want is that can offer a great variety of selection.

Looking forward for some reply.

There are just too many to mention, however IMO the best bet is away from Sukhumvit for some of the best restaurants I've ever been to. I particularly the large 'suan ahaan's' such as M.L.Terb (Minburi), Bung Wa Pee (srinakarin next to Seri Centre), some of the great restaurants down by the river (again a bit more away from the hotel stretch at the bottom of Silom / Sathorn. These offer great food at unbelieveable prices.

For closer to Sukhumvit have a look at some of the threads already here, still some great places but the price will be higher.

I'd avoid Cabbages and Condoms personally, overpriced and not up to scratch. There was a nice wee restaurant in Soi 33 I once went to with Padawan BK, and CG? called Om Thong, remember enjoying that one immensely.

To second brother Yurune...

Om Thong on soi 33 is OK for authentic thai food in a nice setting (clean white tablecloths, nice wooden chairs, a girl playing a traditional thai harp-like instrument etc) at reasonable prices. Good seafood too, they know how to cook a fish there.

Or if you're in the Rattanakosin area, there are a few good ones on Phra-Athit Road.. Kin-Duem, for example.

White Elephant @ JW marriot is nice, offering thai classical dancing. The food was marvelous.

Saffron @ Banyantree hotel. Spectacular view, skyscaper, great food, nice soft live music band.

Ah - Bun Wa Pee. My favorite place to eat Thai seafood in Bangkok. It is about a 5 minute drive from my house.

One other I like is Ton Krueng in Soi Tong Lor. Bua is also very good. Numerous locations.

JWM (imho) is a clip joint suitable for those on an expense account. KB & myself had excellent Thai in 22 for 1100 baht including Beer. Old Army was there - 5 of us in all. Approx what JWM get PER PERSON.

Baan Khanitha in either soi Ruam Rudee in Ploenchit, or Sukhumvit 23 are worth a look.

There's also a very nice and high class Thai restaurant on Sukhumvit 33, virtually opposite Renoir. Can't remember its name, sorry.

Ton Krueng is near Soi 11 on Thong Lor, about 1 km from Sukhumvit. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor. TG's seem to like the place as well as farangs and Japanese.
