I think the place is called MK restaurants or something, seen it all over the place, it's in big C in pattaya and in just about every mall I went to in bkk
damn good hotpot place, for people who are interested

Also has nice Dim Sum and the Duck and crispy Pork are nice too.
It's pretty cheap, still good quality and very popular amongst Thais.
Worth a try and the girls like it too, but better take there more then one, it's more fun.

the duck was out when I tried to order but the roast pork stuff was awesome, didn't try their dim sum
I went to the one in big C in pattaya with this girl, yeah it's definitely better with at least 4 people, even though the serving size ain't that big so 2 people could be ok too.
in the states if a chinese restaurant has a bunch of chinese people in it then it must be good, this place was absolutely packed with thais, so looks like it's good enough for them.

It certainly is good enough for them.
MK has restaurants wherever you turn, from the large seat capacity ones to smaller quick shops in shopping center basements. Some centers even have 2 restaurants in them.
This chain is enormous and is a tribute that they seem to be keeping the quality of there foods high, fresh etc.
The only compaint I have is that their dim sum is often cold or luke warm. Many times I have returned it to be reheated.
MK is the McDonalds of Thailand, quick but healthy fast food. That guy who started all the fast food franchises here, pizza hut etc and now runs pizza company amongst many others, needs to be held accountable for changes in diet and it remains to be seen if the ever so cute and petite Thai female figure will be changed in the near future for the worse because of it.
Everywhere else the yankee fast food epidemic has been introduced, the asses of the girls has become considerably bigger. Heinecke should be hung by the balls if this is the case in several years and I will happily tie the knot.
