1. At the near top of Soi 11, adjacent to the 7/11, is Chile Culture. Excellent Thai, modern & fusian style (up a little from the Bed). 2. Take that cross street over to Soi 13, left 10 mtrs. Great, really great, Vietnamese food. It's a long, lonely hike up Soi 13, so use Soi 11.

Nice directions, do you have the name of the restaurants so we know we are at the right place?

Chili Culture at the very end of soi 11 next to the 7/11 is a very nice and friendly restaurant with excellent food. Very good prices too, especially since they serve better food than many of those posh upstyle places that charges a fortune! Place is highly recommended! If you enter soi 11 you will see the 7/11 at the very end of it - making it very easy to also find this nice place! I can also highly recommend the tiny Vietnamese restaurant on 32 Suk Soi 13! Name is Xuan Mai. The owner is one special lady! Fled from Vietnam as a young girl in 1975. Came to USA where she years later joined the FBI!! Stayed in service for 20 years and also got a commission as asst charges de affairs in Thailand. Then stayed on and is now running a small but very qualified restaurant! Perfect place to bring GF or any other occasion. Food is absolutely freshly made and taste is great. Prices are a very reasonable and I am for sure going to be a regular there. Especially since I live close to both places! Note: Soi 11 and 13 are connected at the end of the roads. Just a few minutes walk between 2 of my favourite locations in town!

The Toxic crew seemed quite pleased with the takeout I brought them from Chili Culture last night. I especially liked the Chiang Mai Noodles. The Shrimp in a Blanket appetizer was also quite tasty.
