Last month there was a thread saying that Foodland Suk 5 would be closing this summer, but I can't find anything on their website or elsewhere about that. True or no? See y'all in November, but it won't be the same if I can't get my favorite Gai Pad Grapow for cheap cheap.

That Foodland is a money machine.
An orchard of trees bearing 1000 Baht notes.
It would be very surprising if they tore it down even if the land is valuable. And they could put the hotel above the Foodland easily.
Then again TIT and anything goes; rational or not.

Well, if I would built a 4 or 5 star hotel, I wouldn't like to have Foodland downstairs.
Anyway, I will keep a close eye on developments...
