I like Pasand on Soi 12 but I haven't been to Balbirs yet.
Indian Hut on Suriwong is also very good. There is another good one on Suriwong across from Trocadero Hotel/Fuji Hotel but forgot the name.

especially to HAAM SUP and others to.... what do u mean by 'the Soi 8 Gauntlet' ? what is it? any problem going into that Soi? and whats about AlleyCat?

did you do a search for alley cat?? it is in the specialty bar area...
I didn't get the gauntlet part either.. although you do have to go thru some street vendors and their seating to get to Malaysian Aunties..
One of my favorite places to eat as I like the food and it is much less expensive than most of the Indian places...
as you enter soi 8, take the first sub soi to your left.. usually there is a sign, but sometimes harder to see as the vendors carts are in the way..
Alley Cat Bar is the second sub soi on the right.. you almost can't miss it.. A good place for a quickie, but I sometimes go in there for a beer and buy them a drink or give them a tip.. some of the girls there are quite pleasant and they open officially at 4, but often you can get in earlier.. sometimes as early as three ..
don't like the new BJ area, but still nicer than Lolitas as you can shower afterwards if you want to.

yes i did search for an alley cat, came to know what exactly it is...
but then i still dun understand why ppl call Soi 8 as a "Gauntlet" what does it mean... is it risky to go there or something???
