Has anyone heard of the Hyton Leelavadee? I used the search engine in Phuket and Hotel Issues but I got nada. If you have heard of it, can anyone give me some info on it?
I'm trying to find an upper class 4-5 star hotel in Patong that is girl friendly for less than $80US a night. I found this one on latestays.com (rated as a 4 star) for B1500/night.
Also, priceline.com has Patong listed in it's hotel section and goes up to 4 stars. Anyone ever used priceline.com to get a hotel in Patong? If so, could you give me the details? I got the JW Marriott in Bangkok on priceline.com for $56US/night. A steal!
Also looking to spend a night out on Koh Phi Phi, any suggestions?

why pay 1500 for the night for a guest friendly hotel when the same can be had for less than 1/2 price?.
why is a 4-5* so important?.
i spend time in my room f_cking and sleeping and it is a very small % of my time.
paying so much to me is a waste.
but each to his own.

And if you wanna be a cheap charlie, look for Holiday Resort at the end of Patong. But insist on rooms in the pool wing across the road fm the reception. V. girl-friendly and secure.

JH, thanks for your tip. I was looking at the Burasari hotel as a consideration as I found it mentioned in other threads. I took a look at the website, and it does look nice. A tad more than I wanted to spend, but what the hell, I'm on vacation and you only live once right?
